The Cazedessus Collection is a selection of materials from the collection of Anthony "Tony" Cazedessus, a Baton Rouge real estate agent who was piviotal in the development of some of Baton Rouge's early neighborhoods. Dating from 1911 , these images show the growth of Roseland Terrace, Steele Place and scenes from around the City of Baton Rouge shortly after the turn of the Twentieth Century. The remainder of the Cazedessus Collection, which is located in the Baton Rouge Room Archives at the River Center Branch Library, includes the original images, a journal of real estate transactions and travel photographs.
